Choose Life in the Park

Often when we go into Youth Clubs the Youth Leaders will say that the young people they wanted us to talk to were not there. When I asked where they were, they would say in the park.

To assist with this we have started to go into the parks to put on our play and for our volunteers to tell their story.

We have done this now on a number of occasions and it has been a major success.

It must be remembered although the play might come across in these pictures that the play lacks the professional touch, we always stress this is very much street theatre and its beauty is the fact that this is people who have suffered greatly from addiction come to perform their own play in front of young people and then importantly they tell their story.
